What type of wax do you use in your wax melts?

We trialled and searched long and hard for the very best wax to use for our melts. We wanted as natural product as possible, kept free from all additives, environmentally sound, and of course, a wax that would offer us a superior fragrance holding ability for our products.
Our wax is made from 100% natural soybean that can be replenished at a faster rate than many other materials on the market, with a smooth, creamy white finish.
Our wax is not tested on animals, and being sourced from renewable, non genetically modified  vegetables, completely vegan.
We have chosen to leave our melts dye-free because the wax has a stunning, creamy finish all on it’s own, and although the dyes we have are entirely vegetable based, we wanted to be sure we didn’t add any unnecessary additives to our products.
You won’t find any paraffin in our products either. Paraffin is a petroleum by-product which is created by the process of refining crude oil into gasoline. When heated, paraffin wax releases the toxins acetaldehyde, formaldehyde, toluene, benzene and acrolein into the air. Many soy wax blends contain paraffin, but rest assured, not ours.
We have also kept our wax free of Stearic Acid which is an additive commonly used to create a stronger scent throw and firmer product, however can contain animal by-products. We aren’t willing to take the risk with our products of using something we weren’t 100% sure was Vegan-friendly.
